Over 1,200 students and 50 organizations, departments and clubs attended Northwest Fest Sept. 7.
Students participated in activities and received food and prizes.
Booths from NW clubs and organizations, including the TCC police department, were also available to students who attended the event.
In-N-Out catered over 750 burgers for students, faculty and staff during the event.
At the festival, students were encouraged to get involved on campus so they can be successful in their college careers.
Students had the opportunity to mingle with representatives while they circled the available booths.
Often, students don’t get involved until it’s too late, NW student activities associate Alicia Coleman said. Northwest Fest is an opportunity for students to get involved early in the semester.
