Dec. 5 Recitals for NW music students will be at 7 p.m. in the WFAB Recital Hall.
Dec. 6 NE string students will host an end-of-the-semester concert from 6-9 p.m. in College Hall (NCAB 1111).
Dec. 6 The NE Campus Jazz Lab Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. in Concert Hall (NFAB 1129). The oncert is free and open to the public.
DANCE
Dec. 6 Fall into Dance, a concert featuring the NW Dance Company and dance students, will be 1-3 p.m. in WSTU 1303 on NW Campus. The informal concert will host a selection of ballet, modern, jazz and hip-hop styles. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted at the door. Dec. 6 A NW Student Choreography Showcase will be 7:30-9 p.m. in WSTU 1303. The program will present various dance students’ work ranging from modern to hip-hop. Dec. 7-8 Kaleidoscope, the NE Campus fall dance concert, will be 7:30-8:30 p.m. both nights with a 2:30 p.m. concert Dec. 8 in the NFAB Theatre. Several styles of ballroom including the fox trot, swing, tango, jive and cha-cha will be performed as well as contemporary ballet, tap, hip-hop and modern dance. Now-Dec. 8 The NW art exhibit Loose Knit, a display of ceramics, paintings and drawings, is in the Lakeview Gallery (WFAB 1135A). THEATER
Now-Dec. 9 Theatre Northwest presents Dark of the Moon, the last show for the fall semester. The play follows a witch boy named John who falls in love with a beautiful mortal girl named Barbara. To be with her, John makes a pact to be human that threatens their love and lives. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
