April 27 Secrets to Success will be 12:50-2:10 p.m. in the library classroom (ESED 1212) on SE Campus.

April 27 NE Campus will hold a MyPlan Career Assessment overview 10-11:30 a.m. in the Testing Center (NSTU 1801A). Career services will help students understand their career assessment results. Students must have completed four prior assessments and must come with their MyPlan account user ID and password to receive their results.

April 27 TR health services will continue its Wellness on Wheels series for Stress Awareness Month with The Power of Balance 2:30-3 p.m. in the Discovery Center (TRTR 3102). TR English and language acquisition assistant professor Christi BlueFeather will speak with students about how to find balance in a busy life through self-care.

April 27 South Campus will hold Sexual Assault Awareness & Prevention Month: Guest Speaker and Tribute Quilt Presentation & Dedication 12:30-2 p.m. in the Fusion Auditorium (SETC 1100). Students are invited to attend a lunch-and-learn on what they can do to raise individual and community awareness on the issues surrounding sexual assault and abuse. A Women’s Center of Tarrant County representative will speak, and the tribute quilt will be revealed.

April 27 NE Campus presents Get Back on Track and Finish the Race! 3:30-5 p.m. in the Community Room (NBSS 1103). The workshop is designed to assist with identifying one’s learning style, provide effective learning strategies, provide strategies to boost one’s GPA and provide information about campus resources.

April 27 Graduation and Beyond, a celebration for South graduates, will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the SSTU Dining Hall.

April 28 SE Campus will host a Veteran Students and Military Connected Students Information Panel 1:30-4:30 p.m. in ESEE 1117. Veteran and military-connected students will receive information on veteran resources in support of higher education. April 30 NE Campus will hold The Experience: An Interactive Scholarship Competition! for female students 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Galley (NSTU 1506). Students can win a $500 tuition scholarship by participating in a series of activities based on Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. May 7-10 TR will have puppies on campus for Therapaws noon-2 p.m. May 7 and 10 and noon-4 p.m. May 9 in the TR library. The puppies are available for students and faculty or staff to pet and visit to deal with stress or test anxiety during finals week. May 8 TR’s Tahita Fulkerson Library will throw Library Lock-In Exam Cram starting at 5 p.m. May 8 and lasting until midnight May 9. Students are encouraged to stop by for pizza, snacks and a quiet study session. Textbooks, laptops and desktops will be available for study use. Students must have a TCC ID and arrive before 5:30 p.m. Students are allowed to leave at any time but will not be readmitted to the library.
