Women from NW Campus will tell their personal stories in a poster display in honor of Women’s History Month on campus.
The display is sponsored by NW’s women’s enrichment program Empowering Links.
The Empowered Women display will be featured March 27-30 during regular campus hours in the WSTU bookstore lobby.
“Empowering Links members nominated a few students, staff and faculty members to be on display,” student development associate Alicia Coleman said. “We are honoring the women that empower others.”
The program sponsors events and activities that provide female students the opportunity to promote personal, professional and academic growth.
“Empowering Links is a mentoring program that empowers TCC female students to make lasting connections,” Coleman said. “This program started at the South Campus and has now expanded to all five campuses.”
