Now-March 27 Theatre Southeast will present CHOP by SE drama adjunct Brad McEntire at 7:30 p.m. March 25-27 and 1:30 p.m. March 27 in the Blackbox Theatre (ESEE 1316). CHOP is a one-man show presented and directed by McEntire. The play is about a man finding love in another person, in himself and in an unlikely community. Admission is free for TCC students, faculty and staff, $3 for non-TCC students and seniors and $6 for the general public. Now-April 2 The Carillon Gallery on South will have Ryder Richards: The Idyll on display. The Carillion is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday or by reservation. March 26 The Preparatory Piano Recital will take place 7:30-8:30 p.m. in College Hall (NCAB 1111) on NE Campus. Students from grades one-12 will perform a variety of piano selections from different eras. March 28 The NE music department will present a faculty and guests concert. History of Rock ’n’ Roll will take place 7-8:30 p.m. in the NFAB theater on NE Campus. March 28 The NE music department faculty will host an open house for high school students 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Larry Darlage Center Corner (NSTU 1615A) on NE Campus. March 30 The NE Percussion Ensemble will play 7-8 p.m. in the NFAB theater on NE Campus. Led by music instructor Warren Dewey, the band will feature many instruments including snare drums and maracas. The groups will perform many types of ethnic rhythms. March 30–April 3 The NW art department will open Dada Day in the Lakeview Gallery for all students, faculty and the public to participate. Dada Day explores the ideas of free expression. April 16-18 The South theater program will present Fools by Neil Simon at 7:30 p.m. in the Joe B. Rushing Performing Arts Center. The play is a comic fable in which a schoolteacher struggles to lift the curse of stupidity placed on the citizens of a long-ago Russian village. Tickets go on sale at 7 p.m. in the box office on the day of the performance. Prices are $6 for the general public, $3 for seniors and non-TCC students and free for TCC students, faculty and staff.
