The Bill of Rights exhibit is in the SE Campus library. A copy of the historical document, photographs and other constitutional amendments will be presented on 12 freestanding photomontage posters.

South Campus will have a voter registration drive 9 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-7 p.m. outside the library.

SE Campus career services will host a Job Fair 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Commons. Representatives from area employers will speak with students and provide information about different career opportunities they have available.

Free and confidential HIV and syphilis testing will take place 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in WCTS 1124B on NW Campus. AIDS Outreach is offering the tests, and results will be available over the phone within one week. Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome.

Managing PTSD examines the impact of trauma in people who experience disabilities due to post-traumatic stress disorder resulting from various events including early loss of family, medical procedures, war and sexual and physical abuse. The interactive session presented by Baylor All Saints Medical Center program counselor Scott Lennox and open to the public runs 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in College Hall (NCAB 1111) on NE Campus.

The NE Student Leadership Academy will discuss the opportunities and benefits of mentoring others 10-11 a.m. in the Galley (NSTU 1506) on NE Campus. All students can participate in the session.

SE Campus student activities will host Bank Day 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Commons. Representatives from local banks will provide information about their different bank accounts and services.

TR Campus will hold its annual health fair, Making Everyday Healthy 10 a.m.-2 p.m. TRTR Main Street. Screenings and information will be provided from various partnerships around the community. Open to the public and all students, the health fair will also include a blood drive 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

The NE Campus Student Success Seminar: Communicating with Faculty will give students tips on talking with teachers, mastering classroom etiquette and acquiring successful networking skills 12:30-1:30 p.m. in Center Corner (NSTU 1615).

Students are invited to speak directly with the South Campus student development services office during the SDS Food and Review Forum noon-1 p.m. in the Forum Room (SSTU 2207). A light Subway lunch will be served.

Coffee House Conversation: Poetry Reading by Kelly Holt takes place at 6 p.m. in the NLIB Lobby on NE Campus. The poetry of Holt, a NE English adjunct instructor, has appeared in Allegheny Review, American Literary Review and Fugue. Admission is free for TCC students, faculty and staff. NW Campus will hold an information literacy class 1-3 p.m. in the Walsh Library WTLO (third floor). The event will address the subject of information literacy, which is the ability to recognize needed information and then locate, evaluate and effectively use that information. Health services is offering free exercise combo classes 1-2 p.m. Fridays through Nov. 30, excluding Nov. 2 and Nov. 23, in Center Corner (NSTU 1615). Exercise combo, a wellness activity, combines cardio stretch, Zumba and line dance. All students and employees can attend. Pre-registration is not required. Students have four books to vote on for the Big Book Talk in April. Students can choose among The Color Purple, 1984, The Hunger Games and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. By voting on these books, students have a chance to un-ban the historically banned book of their choice. Visit libguides.tccd.edu or the TR Campus Library for voting and more information.

The weekly Zumba class will meet 5-6 p.m. in the SHPE building on South Campus. Persons of all fitness levels are invited to attend dressed for exercise.

Students are invited to participate in the South Campus Instagram Challenge. Each day, participants will take a photograph that fits with the day’s theme, post it on Instagram and mark it with #tccsouth. Daily themes are posted around the campus. Armie Snarley, a certified business etiquette consultant, will speak at a business etiquette seminar 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. in the Texas Room (SSTU 2210) on South Campus. Students will learn how they can apply everyday business etiquette to their lives.

This week’s Lunchtime Workshop at TR, Test Taking Strategies, will give students extra tips on studying, reviewing and taking tests. TR government instructor James Goss will speak at the event, which runs noon-1 p.m. in the Discover Room (TRTR 3102).

The Fall Club Crawl will put TR Campus’ clubs on display for students to see, gather information on and sign up for 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on TRTR Main Street. Clubs including the new International Student Club, the new Citizens’ Club, Student Government, the Film Club, Trinity River Equality in Education and Phi Theta Kappa will be recruiting members. Many more clubs will be present at the event and light refreshments will be served.
