Participants should meet at 8 a.m. at Starbucks, 404 Houston St., for a group picture, said Lynn Fieser, wellness coordinator in the NE Campus physical education department.

Fieser said this is a chance for people to join others in the TCC community to raise awareness for breast cancer, make a contribution toward a cure for the disease and have fun doing something healthy.

“This is part of our TCC Wellness Program that I am promoting for the physical education department,” she said.

“We are working to get faculty, staff, students, friends and family involved as a community to promote health and wellness.”

Those wanting to participate can register for the event prior to the walk/run at www.komentarrant.org. Adult registration is $30, and competitive registration is $35.

For more information, call Fieser, team captain, at 817-515-6958 or e-mail her at carol.fieser@tccd.edu.
