March 1-31 Women Engaged in Service, a photo exhibit highlighting 10 women who have performed extraordinary service, will be on display in the South Campus Jenkins Garrett Library lobby area. For more information, contact the South Campus library at 817-515-4524.

March 3-4 As part of this year’s Women’s History Month theme, Every Woman Is a Superheroine, students can participate in an interactive survey produced by the SE Campus Student Government Association where they answer on a posterboard what woman in their lives is a superheroine to them. The survey will take place 10 a.m.-10 p.m. March 3 in the Commons and 10 a.m.-10 p.m. March 4 in ESCT HUB. For more information, contact student activities at 817-515-3595.

March 3-21 As part of the Everyday Superheroines exhibit, portraits of 40 women will be displayed in SE Campus’ Art Corridor. An opening reception is scheduled 1-2 p.m. March 3 in the Commons. For more information, contact SE student activities at 817-515-3595.

March 4 A Women in New Roles seminar will be held 11 a.m.-12:20 p.m. in the SSTU Texas Room. The TCC Police Department’s Victim Assistance Unit will present Telling Amy’s Story, a video on domestic violence. A panel discussion will follow. March 4 A brown bag luncheon will be 12:30-1:20 p.m. in the SHPE gym on South Campus. Alexis Burnett, a registered nurse and stroke coordinator for North Hills Hospital, will speak on health issues women face. March 5 NE Campus student activities will host Fabulous and Fun Day 12:30-1:30 p.m. in Center Corner (NSTU 1615A). March 20, 24, 26 The film Wonder Women: The Untold Story of American Superheroines, which explains how powerful women have been portrayed in the media and society’s anxieties about women’s liberation, will be presented on SE Campus.
