SE students honored with Awards Night

By Shelly Williams/se news editor

As a way to honor achievements by individual students and organizations, SE student activities will host its annual end-of-the-year Awards Night 7-9 p.m. April 21 in the North Ballroom.

The ceremony recognizes SE Campus students with academic accomplishments and those who have done services within community and school organizations, as well as students who have shown leadership on campus, said SE student activities director Doug Peak.

“It’s a big celebration at the end of the year where we recognize achievements that students have made here at our school,” he said. “We do put out invitations to students that are recognized, but anybody can come, and it is open to the public.”

Admission is free for those who would like to see their family and friends receive awards.
