NW Campus’ Student Leadership Academy will present an interactive workshop March 9 showing students how to use their life experiences as tools to build toward career success.
Marketable Skills for the Workforce will be held 12:30-2 p.m. in WACB 1123, and lunch will be included.
“Many times, people are unaware of the transferable skills they have and how to market them to others,” NW student activities coordinator Rachael McCloskey said. “In this presentation, students will learn how to demonstrate the skills they have and how to use them to their advantage.”
The workshop will focus on ways students can successfully market their skills in resumes, job and school interviews and on scholarship applications.
Though the presentation is part of NW’s Women’s History Month program, all students are encouraged to attend.
Registration to the event is encouraged but not required. To register, contact McCloskey at 817-515-7794 or rachael.mccloskey@tccd.edu
