Now-March 2 Tickets for the March 3 Women’s History Month Luncheon on South Campus are on sale from Triesha Light, South WINR coordinator, until sold out. Only checks or money orders made out to WHM Scholarship will be accepted, no cash. Tickets are $5 for students and $7.50 for all others and will not be available at the door. Feb. 23 SE Campus is hosting a stress management seminar 9:35-10:30 a.m. in the North Ballroom presented by advisor Joyce Fisher. The seminar can help students learn skills for avoiding stress anxiety at both school and home.
Feb. 24, March 1 NW Campus health services will offer Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers, which includes performing CPR with a bag valve mask. The course will cost $15, lasts 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in WACB 1123 and is open to anyone 18 and older. However, only health care providers will have access to a bag valve mask in most situations. Feb. 25 TR Campus will host Résumé Writing and Interview Techniques, an All-Stars Leadership Workshop, 1:15-2:15 p.m. in TREF 1501C.
March 1 Academic advisors Noel Garcia and Carl Scherrieb will present part one of the ABCs of Success: Setting Goals and Making the Right Decisions. The seminar will focus on helping students to carefully plan their academic futures. The seminar will take place 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the SSTU Forum Room on South Campus.
March 1 Government associate professor Lisa Uhlir will help students identify their individual learning style 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the NSTU Center Corner as part of the Student Success Seminars. Learning Styles will teach students how to effectively tailor their education experience to achieve more. A light lunch will be served on a first-come, first-served basis.

March 2 Center for academic success coordinator Chris Carcerano will present Plan Your Summer Now: Internships, Jobs, School or Services? The seminar will teach students how to make the most of their summers, whether it be attaining internships, getting a job or taking summer courses. March 3 An American Red Cross Blood Donor Drive will take place 9 a.m.-2 p.m. inside a mobile unit parked on the patio of the South Campus Student Center. Donors must be at least 17 years old and have a photo ID.
March 3 A Marrow Donor Registry will be set up 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in the hallway outside of SSTU 1102 on South Campus.
March 3 South career center coordinator Monica Miranda will present “Networking/Job Clubs — Where to Go For Job Leads” 1-2 p.m. in the SSTU Texas Room on South Campus. Miranda will show students how social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook can be utilized in the quest for employment. She will also teach students about the importance of networking and building relationships with professionals who can help them secure employment.
March 3 NE Campus student activities and continuing education will present Emotional Intelligence. The professional seminar will be 1-4 p.m. in NSTU Center Corner.
March 3-4 TR Campus will host Grad Fest, a spring college signing day, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on TRTR Main Street.
