Transfer center coordinator Laura Escamilla held a transfer advising session for engineering majors Oct. 22 on TR Campus, where she stressed the differences between the Associate of Arts and Associate of Applied Science degrees.

Escamilla also pointed out the variations of the fields of study in the engineering major. This ranges from chemical engineering to computer science degrees.

She continued to suggest “completing the FAFSA for next year,” which will close at the end of October.

“I didn’t really understand 100% what classes to take or what was required, and now I know,” said Haden George, a TR Campus student.
