Whether it’s a person or an institution turning 50, the celebration is not just inevitable, but special. As TCC enters its Golden Jubilee, The Collegian wanted to mark it with a special section.
Within this section, readers can learn about two former chancellors and the current chancellor’s vision for the future. Readers can also journey through each campus’ history.
The Collegian would like to give a special thanks to South journalism adjunct instructor Bill Lace, whose history of the college is scheduled to be published as an e-book this summer. We’d also like to thank Lace and the rest of the 50th Anniversary Committee and the TCC Archives for supplying photos. Finally, thanks to the News Gathering/Reporting II class for writing most of the stories in this edition.
Please read our 50th Anniversary issue here.
