Campus Voices: What is your favorite conspiracy theory?

Mayvelis Pantojas, NW Campus

“I believe in the multiverse. There may be different universes of different styles than in this universe. If I die tomorrow … maybe I can go to the past, or maybe stay and then come back in the future.”

Yazid Martinez, NW Campus

“I’m not really big on conspiracies. Aliens, I guess. It’s like a back and forth. If aliens do exist, there would have been some obvious signs, something already come out. There’s a saying that my dad tells me, ‘if you go looking for it, you’ll find it.’ I feel like that’s kind of what people twist things to be. If you really, really believe in it, you’re gonna end up finding something that brings proof to that or light to that. So, honestly, I feel like they don’t really exist. But it’s just interesting to see what comes up and what people argue. That’s what I find interesting about them.”

Nina Alfred, NW Campus

“I believe [in] aliens and supernatural stuff, because we’re so tiny in the world. There’s no way we’re the only forms of life out there. I feel like some of them might look similar to us, like there’s some able to blend in with us. We’ve probably seen them, we just didn’t know. I think ghosts and stuff are definitely real. I definitely feel like my last house is

haunted. That sounds weird, but it would be a two story house and I hear footsteps sometimes, and no one would be up there. Sometimes I’d hear my name, and no one would be calling me.”

Bryce Ditslear, NE Campus

“My favorite conspiracy theory is that Tory Lanez didn’t shoot Megan thee Stallion. Jay-Z set it all up and paid to get Tory Lanez locked up … to promote Megan thee Stallion’s music career, because she’s part of his label. And [Jay-Z] then went and paid to get Tory Lanez stabbed in prison. He just needs to get out, because he’s an innocent man rotting away in jail.”
