SE Campus will have a volleyball tournament starting Nov. 11.
The tournament will be two days with games Nov. 11 and 18.
“The first-round games will be on the 11th,” SE intramural coordinator Shahzad Nazir said. “Then the rest of it [the tournament] will be played out on the 18th.”
Nazir said the tournament is four-on-four coed, and the number of males on the court cannot outnumber the female players.
“A team can have all girls, three girls and a guy or half and half,” he said.
The last tournament had 10 teams, Nazir said.
“We expect about the same,” he said. “Eight to 12 teams would be good.”
Sign-ups will last until Nov. 4. Prospective players can sign up as individuals or as a team, Nazir said.
“Teams will have to fill out a roster form and bring it to me,” he said. “And people without a team can sign up themselves, and we will put them on a team.”
The tournament will be the best two-out-of-three format, Nazir said. Each team has to win two games to take the match.
