South students who want assistance with degree plans can attend Career Planning for Next Semester at 1 p.m. Nov. 29.

Monica Miranda, South career center coordinator, will make the presentation, sponsored by student activities.

Some of the things she will discuss include the importance of declaring a degree, especially for undecided first-semester students; steps to make sure students are prepared for the next semester; and the importance of career assessments.

Miranda said one of the most important things a student can do to make sure they are prepared for next semester is to talk to their advisors and counselors.

The session will be in the SSTU Texas Room on South Campus.
