Film producer to show documentary on school discrimination on Oct. 1

Eight Mexican-American children sued to change the education system of Texas, claiming discrimination because they were left in the first grade for three years.

TCC students, faculty and the general public are invited to learn the untold story of how these children changed education in Texas by viewing the documentary Stolen Education 5:30 p.m. Oct. 1 in the TRTR Energy Auditorium on the fourth floor on TR Campus.

Following the film, there will be a Q&A with its producer, Enrique Aleman Jr.
