A seminar next month promoting going “green” will introduce students to the Top 10 Green Career Opportunities.

Monica Bettle, South career center coordinator, will focus on “green” working environments. During this Nov. 10 presentation, she plans to expose students to “various career opportunities that promote that interest and the possibility to major in a green career field.”

Bettle holds one master’s in public administration and another in counseling.

She has been with TCC for 11 years, working in the career center assisting students with career planning and job development.

“Any student who is interested in learning about career fields that focus on green working environments or that promote going green should attend,” she said.

The seminar begins at 1 p.m. in SSTU Texas Room on South Campus.
