Oct. 17, 18 Volleyball enthusiasts can sign up for a NE indoor tournament on the 16th and/or 17th in the NHPE gym on NE Campus. Games are 2-6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and registration can be done the day before. Students can sign up as teams or as free agents who will be assigned to teams.
Oct. 25 For the less athletic athlete, NE Campus offers the Madden Tournament. Players can just show up in the NHPE gym for tournament play, which runs 1-5 p.m. on both PS3 and XBox 360. The winner takes home his/her choice of a Madden 25 game for PS3 or XBox 360. No prior registration is required.
Nov. 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23 Students who want to participate in the NE flag football tournament must sign up in the NHPE gym by Oct. 31. Students can sign up as teams or as free agents who will be assigned to teams. Tournament play is scheduled 1-5 p.m. Fridays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays. Participants will meet in the gym and then move outside by the tennis courts for the games. Winning teams continue to the next weekend. Students can stay for free play after the tournament.
