Anyone interested in becoming an entrepreneur is invited to attend Is Owning Your Own Business For You?

Toni Allison, CEO of Knowledge for Success, Inc., will present insider information as a business entrepreneur 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Nov. 5 in the SSTU Texas Room on South Campus.

“She is the most well-connected woman in Fort Worth,” said Triesha Light, psychology associate professor and WINR coordinator.

The seminar is part of the Women in New Roles Program and is designed to meet the needs of students and the public and is not gender-specific.

“It’s for anyone who thinks they might want to own their own business or doesn’t know and wants to find out,” Light said.

Allison said she will discuss owning a business instead of working for someone else, about passion and following one’s dreams. She wants to show entrepreneurs how they can achieve it for themselves.

“I have always been an entrepreneur, and now I will also teach others to do the same,” she said.
