Students can find out who the best swimmer is by taking part in an indoor swimming competition Nov. 22 on SE Campus.

The competition starts at 1 p.m. at the pool and includes a medley of strokes such as breast and freestyle. The competition is split into male and female categories as well as recreational and competitive groups.

“Everyone who participates will receive a prize,” said physical health and education instructor Shahzad Nazir. “The top winners will receive an additional prize too.”

Some of the prizes include gym bags, towels, T-shirts and goggles.

“The swimming competition will be concluded with a big splash competition where the participants will see who makes the biggest splash from the jump off,” Nazir said. “The audience applause will be used to determine the winner of that competition.”

Those interested in participating can sign up the day of the competition at the registration table in the pool area.
