Family counselor to offer SE Campus relationship advice

Students can learn about relationship issues next week on SE Campus.

Erin Snell, counselor for the Family Matters Program, will present Managing Relationship Stress, sponsored by the SE counseling department, Wednesday, Feb. 21, 11:45 a.m.-12:40 p.m. in the North Ballroom.

The speech will focus on how to contend with people in relationships that are not going smoothly.

“ This is usually due to people having conflicting expectations, being distracted by other issues or being unable to express what is on their minds in a way others can understand them,” Joyce Fisher, counselor, said.

Fisher said the presentation is designed to help students deal with conflicts in all relationships such as with a boyfriend/girlfriend, parent, co-worker, boss or spouse.

The seminar is free and open to any student.
