Students having trouble getting a job or maybe anxiety about applying may want to check out a South Campus presentation next week.
The South Campus career center coordinator will conduct Resume Writing Tuesday, March 11.
The seminar will be in the SSTU Texas Room and be presented by Monica Bettle.
“The seminar will cover the basic steps to developing a resume,” she said.
In addition to the basic steps of resume writing, Bettle will also address the use of the Internet and resume submission.
The seminar will “discuss submitting resumes electronically via the Internet and applying online and how that affects what the resume looks like and/or the content within the resume,” she said.
Bettle, who holds two master’s degrees, one in public administration and the other in counseling, has worked with TCC students for 10 years.
Any student can attend the free event.
