The 1960s are returning to NW Campus this year.

The history and government department will host a series of programs that highlight pivotal events during 1967 and 1968.

A panel discussion Thursday, Sept. 20, at 12:30 p.m. in the WACB Michael Saenz Conference Room kicks off this semester’s activities.

The panel includes Dr. Peter Lane and Tom McKnight, Vietnam War Air Force veterans, and Don Mack, NW assistant professor of sociology who moved to Fort Worth to work on community development as a part of the Great Society programs.

They will share their personal experiences and answer questions from the audience.

Sponsors said they plan a relaxed atmosphere. Guests are invited to bring a brown bag lunch, and free drinks will be provided.
