Veterans will be the focus Thursday, Oct. 4, on NE Campus during Veterans Benefits: How To Assist Veterans and Dependents To Receive What They Deserve.
The forum, sponsored by continuing education and mental health departments, is open to the public and will cover how to evaluate veteran status, determine which agencies can best assist, identify VA office locations and review medical care options, special cases, widow and burial issues. The session will also discuss financial benefits.
Hank Scheible of the Denton County veteran service office will conduct the forum 8:30-11:30 a.m. in NE NSTU
Center Corner. Cost is $20 for professionals, $10 for students and free to family caregivers.
