NW seminar examines post traumatic stress

By Patrick Cusack/reporter

Many veterans from wars such as Vietnam returned with honors as well as psychological disorders, and the present-day soldiers in the Middle East are no different.

Dr. Charles Overstreet, professor of psychology on South Campus, will discuss the development of treatments of posttraumatic stress disorder from the Vietnam War to present day at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, in WSTU 1303 on NW Campus. The discussion is free to attend.

Overstreet’s presentation is part of the NW Campus semester emphasis on the Vietnam War.
