South Campus is gearing up for its annual Gobble Wobble fun run Nov. 15.
The 1K fun run will begin at 9 a.m., and the 5K run will begin at 9:30 a.m., both in the SHPE parking lot.
The Gobble Wobble is free for students, faculty and staff who bring six cans of nonperishable food. Pre-registration is $10 with six cans of food for non-TCC runners or walkers and $15 with six cans on the day of the run.
The food cans collected will be donated to the Tarrant Area Food Bank, and the registration money will benefit the TCCD Foundation Scholarship Fund.
The run is split into different age brackets with male and female winners for each.
Each first-place winner will receive a turkey, and the second-place winner will receive a Cornish hen.
Administrative assistant Mara Gross said every participant will receive a T-shirt with the packet the morning of the race.
