International banquet on NE to feature several countries

Phi Theta Kappa on NE Campus will sponsor an International Banquet Nov. 17.

Stanley Chibueze, NE PTK president, will host this banquet involving representatives of other countries addressing what it means to be involved in an organization.

Phi Theta Kappa is an international two-year-college honor society that focuses on encouraging students to attain scholarships. Members are required to have involvement in the community that helps develop a sense of leadership that will help them throughout life.

Participants can expect to experience different point of views that involve the topic on how Phi Theta Kappa functions around the country and what it has to offer.

The presentation will take place 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Larry Darlage Center Corner (NSTU 1615) on NE Campus. The presentation is free, but attendees are asked to arrive on time.
