South financial workshop to provide aid, loan basics

The cost of college is at an all-time high and rising. With having a degree as important as ever, it is sometimes hard to balance the cost with the payoff.

One of the goals can be to get out of college with as little debt as possible, but many students find it frustrating and complicated to figure out a way how. Therefore, South Campus will sponsor a workshop 1-2 p.m. Nov. 18 in the NSTU Forum Room to educate students on the ins and outs of financial aid, deadlines, financial aid lingo, loan basics, and free money and places to find it.

Some education on paying for education with busy lives between balancing work and school may make the path easier. Taking the next step in life after college with more money in the pocket is one less worry. The South Campus financial aid office will offer that with The Money Game seminar.
