A SE Campus student is one of 15 recipients of a $5,000 Guistwhite Scholarship.

Pelkins Ajanoh was one of the Phi Theta Kappa members recognized for outstanding achievement, leadership accomplishment and engagement in PTK programs. The scholarship assists its members with obtaining baccalaureate degrees.

The Guistwhite scholarship was first established in 1975 and named in honor of the late Dr. Jack Guistwhite and his late wife Margaret Guistwhite.

To qualify for this scholarship, Ajanoh had to achieve a minimum of 3.5 grade-point average and plan to transfer to a college or university after completion of his coursework at TCC.

This scholarship is the second-highest scholarship offered by Phi Theta Kappa.
