Sept. 16 South career services is hosting Get Your Serve On 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the SSTU dining hall. This is a service learning and volunteer fair and will be open to faculty, students and staff.

Sept. 17 NE student activities and the government and paralegal studies department will host Judge Bob McCoy of Tarrant County Criminal Court #3 and Justice Lee Gabriel of Texas’ Second Court of Appeals in a Constitution Day event 11 a.m.-12:20 p.m. in the Darlage Center Corner (NSTU 1615A). Sept. 17 NE student activities, the history and the government and paralegal studies departments will host John McCaskill from the University of Texas at Dallas for a Constitution Day discussion 12:30-1:50 p.m. in the Darlage Center Corner (NSTU 1615A). Sept. 17 The NE advising and counseling center will hold the first of five financial literacy workshops for students. Needs and Want: Prioritizing What Counts will take place 6-7 p.m. in the Community Room (NBSS 1103). Sept. 17 South Campus health services will hold a presentation for Light the Night Walk 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. in the Forum Room (SSTU 2207). Sept. 17 South Campus’ Student Government Association will host Constitution Day: A Blended Conversation with Faculty in celebration of Constitution Day 1-2:30 p.m. in the Rotunda. This event features a panel with keynote speaker and South vice president of academic affairs Steven Wilson and history associate professor John Lundberg, who will discuss the Constitution and other timely topics.
