With basketball season right around the corner, SE Campus is getting an early start with its 3-on-3 basketball tournament Oct. 24.
Kinesiology instructor and tournament coordinator Shahzad Nazir is expecting another great turnout.
“We could have anywhere from eight to 24 teams,” he said. “Tournament format depends on the number of teams, but I anticipate it will be single-elimination due to the high number of teams.”
As always, the team that comes out on top will be rewarded.
“We have T-shirts, lanyards, gym bags and Adidas team duffels for the champions,” he said.
The first games of the tournament will begin at 9 a.m.
Registration will take place Oct. 16 at 1 p.m. Tournament officials will be there to go over information with all participants.
