Now-Nov. 19 The NE National Honor Society in Psychology is holding a gently used or new books drive for W.T. Francisco Elementary School kindergarten-fifth grade children in Haltom City. Students can drop off books in any of the Psi Beta boxes in various buildings on NE Campus. For more details, contact yvonne.mccoy@my.tccd.edu.

Now-Dec. 4 The NE Student Ambassadors are collecting gloves, hats, scarves and other winter apparel for the women and children at Safehaven of Tarrant County. Boxes are in NSTU, NTAB, NFAC, NACB and NBSS.

Now-Dec. 8 The NE Future Teachers Club is sponsoring a donation drive for Alice Contrearas Elementary School in Fort Worth. School supplies and new or gently used children’s books can be placed in boxes in NBSS, NTAB, NSTU or NACB.

Nov. 18 The NW Bridge Program will teach tips on mastering test anxiety 4-5 p.m. in WTLO 3101A.

Nov. 18 South counselor Valerie Groll will discuss the unique journey of grief and stress as well as review healthy coping strategies 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the advising and counseling center.

Nov. 19 NW career services will host the Aviation, Transportation and Logistics Job Fair 2:30-5:30 p.m. in the OWTL building at the Center of Excellence for Aviation, Transportation and Logistics. The fair is open to current students, TCC alumni and the public. Confirmed companies include Ameriflight, DFW Instruments, Express Jets, Metroplex Aircraft Inspection, UPS and US Aviation Group. Dec. 2 NW student activities and career services will host a session of its job series focusing on careers in networking and social media. The seminar will be held at 12:15 p.m. in WSTU 1406. Lunch will be provided at no cost for the first 16 students.
