More than 50 college and university recruiters will be on site to discuss transfer opportunities, collect applications and provide scholarship and other relevant information regarding the transfer process. The event is free to students, faculty and staff and will be held on TRTR Main Street. For further details, contact Laura Escamilla, TR transfer center coordinator, at 817-515-1144.

Jan. 27 TR Campus will offer free and confidential HIV testing 11 a.m.-1 p.m. provided by MHMR of Tarrant County. The screening is open to the general public, ages 18 and up. Appointments aren’t required but encouraged. Each testing session will last approximately 30-45 minutes. The testing site is located in health services (TREF 1312A). Feb. 1, 2, 4, 5 NW’s Bridge Program and the Academic Learning Center will hold Using APA Style seminars at 5:15 p.m. Feb. 1-2 and noon Feb. 4-5 in the writing lab (WTLO 3411A). Feb. 2 NW’s testing center and the Bridge Program will host General TSI, an informational workshop on the TSI test, noon-12:30 p.m. in the Innovation Forum (WTLO 3101A).

Feb. 2 Unbelievable Relaxation in 30 Minutes! will be presented 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. in the SSTU Texas Room on South Campus. Psychology professor Staussa Ervin will introduce students to yoga nidra, a technique that helps with relaxation and stress management. For more information, call 817-515-4307.

Feb. 2 The Bridge Program will hold a workshop on taking notes 1-2 p.m. in the Innovation Forum (WTLO 3101A) on NW Campus. Students will learn how to ask the important questions in class to help them improve and communicate more effectively. Feb. 3 Ask Gatekeeper Training will be held 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the advising and counseling center (SACT 1429) on South Campus. Feb. 4 TR Campus will host its Spring Club Crawl 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on TRTR Main Street.
