SE talk to provide help eliminating test-related stress

By — Colt Taylor

Students don’t have to pull an all-nighter, according to SE computer science instructor Gracie Williams.

In a partnership between SE’s Quality Enhancement Plan and the academic success center, SE English associate professor Benita Reed and speech instructor Rebekah Adderley will provide students with practical strategies for preparing for an exam, such as the five P’s of test taking: prepare, practice, perform, preview and post-view.

Designed for SE students, the workshop will be presented 12:50-2:10 p.m. March 9 in the Library classroom (ESED 1212). Faculty are encouraged to bring their classes, or students may attend for faculty giving extra credit. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
