NE Club Rush is an event for students looking to connect with organizations and clubs looking to recruit students.

The event noon-2 p.m. Feb. 8 in the NSTU south hallway is described as similar to a career fair, but instead of job opportunities, students can check out the many clubs NE Campus offers, NE student development associate Michelle Taylor said.

Club Rush will be a meet-and-greet with the clubs,” she said.

During Club Rush, students can sign up for clubs and organizations, find volunteer and leadership opportunities, and meet fellow students.

The participating organizations can promote their organization’s goals for the semester.

“This event gives them an opportunity to see who other leaders are and recruit for their own club,” said NE student activities coordinator Cara Walker.

Student organization leaders desiring to have a table at the event need to RSVP to secure a booth and can do so by sending an email to michelle.taylor@tccd.edu.

Students wanting to canvass the NE clubs and organizations don’t need to RSVP.
