Workshop discusses goals set for success

Students can find out how gritty they are at the NE Campus College Success 101 Start on Track workshop Feb. 13.

Exercises to help set goals by building confidence, establishing determination and identifying different types of intelligences will be presented.

Students who are not sure where they are headed or who are looking for guidance to help with goal-setting will benefit from this, NE student success coordinator Ronda Isaacs said. The workshop will be 12:30-2 p.m., in the Community Room (NBSS 1103) with free pizza being served.

The College Success 101 group also hosts College Success 101 Get Back on Track. Isaacs expressed the importance of students starting on track so they won’t need to get back on track.

“It doesn’t matter if it is your first time in college or not,” she said. “There are times when you find yourself asking, ’Can I do this? We believe that the answer is absolutely.’”

Isaacs hopes students will leave the workshop with the confidence to succeed.
