NE and NW campuses postponed their basketball tournaments because of the inclement weather.
NE intramural director Bart Desender said all basketball league events will be pushed back a week, meaning the first games previously scheduled for Feb. 4 will now be played Feb. 11.
“We’re hopeful that we can get the games going this Friday,” Desender said, “weather permitting.”
Physical education instructor Eli Koenn said the yoga and Pilates Saturday session scheduled for Feb. 5 has not been rescheduled yet.
NW Campus, who released its intramural schedule last week after a hectic start to the semester, will move the 3-on-3 “U-call-it” basketball tournament to Feb. 22-24 in the NW gym.
“It gives us another week to advertise for it and get the information out there,” physical education instructor Joshua Tarbay said. “It also gives the students another week to register.”
The weather did not affect intramurals on the other campuses.
