Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching, and SE students are invited to participate in a shopping spree, where they can pick up an assortment of Valentine goodies.
   The Valentine’s Shopping Spree is Monday-Tuesday, Feb. 13-14, 8 a.m.-7 p.m. in the ESED Commons.
   Approximately 10 campus organizations will have tables set up, so students and faculty can browse and shop.
   Sponsored by student activities, the event serves as a fund-raiser for the participating organizations.
   “ We always have [organizations] coming to us and asking if they can participate in a fund-raiser, and we thought this would be a perfect opportunity for them. It benefits both the organizations as well as our students and faculty,” Nita Haliburton, student development coordinator, said.
   Haliburton said items offered for sale and prices will vary. Most will be Valentine-related, and prices should range from $2-$10.
   “ Last year we had an assortment of goodies, everything from candy, to little bears, roses and carnations,” she said.
