NW Campus will celebrate Black History Month and look back at the ’60s Thursday, Feb. 7, with a special speech about the Civil Rights Movement.
This presentation by Bob Ray Sanders is part of a series of annual events honoring the 40th anniversary of the Civil Rights Movement.
Sanders is currently the vice president, metro columnist and associate editor for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. He also works for KERA and teaches a journalism course at Texas Christian University.
Sanders will describe what it was like to live in Fort Worth during the Civil Rights Movement. He will compare living in Fort Worth now to living in Fort Worth in the late 1960s.
This 11 a.m. event will be in WSTU 1303-05.
