Student retreat details possible career choices

Estrus Tucker, a facilitator from the Center for Courage and Renewal, will present Decisions For Success, a free student retreat 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 1-3:30 p.m. May 10 in NBSS 1130 on NE Campus.

The retreat is meant to help students decide on a career choice that fits them.

“This retreat is offered to help them to decide on a deeper level what they’re passionate about,” NE academic advisor Marjeanna Burge said. “It will be a really good option that’s being offered to them for free.”

Burge also suggested students take the MyPlan career assessment offered by career services before attending the event, so they have a better idea of careers that suit them.

Only 60 spots are available. Students need to register as soon as possible at http://tccdne.volunteerhub.com/Events/Index. After registering, students will receive a confirmation email with additional information about the retreat.
