The Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids fundraiser will take place at Cityview Lanes off Hulen Street in Fort Worth. Teams will consist of five bowlers with each member required to raise $100. Contact NE Campus coordinator Melissa Lewis at 817-515-6634 for more information.
Oct. 7
SE will have its five-on-five dodgeball tournament at 1 p.m. in the SE gymnasium. Teams are allowed one substitute and must play with a minimum of one female player. Awards will be given to the top two teams.
Oct. 11
NW is starting its new flag football league.
October
The month of October will see SE Campus host a closest-to-the-pin golf competition and a four-on-four flag football event. Dates are yet to be determined.
Oct. 29
TR will have a three-on-three basketball tournament. Teams are allowed five-man rosters. The tournament will start with a round-robin schedule followed by a single-elimination bracket to decide the champion. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams. Sign-up will start soon in the fitness center.
Nov. 1
NW will start its soccer season.
Nov. 15
NW will have the opening games of its volleyball league.
November
SE will hold a disc golf tournament, self-defense workshop, volleyball tournament and beginner- and competitive-level swimming.
Nov. 24
