NE students having trouble with stress can get tips on fighting it Oct. 19.
NE counselor Marjeanna Burge will present Dealing With Student Stress 12:30-1:30 p.m. in NSTU Center Corner.
Focusing on the health consequences of not dealing with stress properly, Burge will give ways to deal with stress when under pressure.
“I will be giving out a few techniques on breathing exercises that you can do before you take a test,” she said.
She will also present activities students can do in their free time.
“Exercising is always good to do when you’re having stress,” she said.
Students have given her tips that helped them deal with stress, and she will share those at the speech, Burge said.
“Everyone deals with stress,” she said. “It’s just a part of life.”
