Oct. 9, 11 NE Campus will hold 3-on-3 basketball 1-5 p.m. in the NHPE gym. Students can sign up as teams or as free agents who will be assigned to teams. Students can register the day before play. Others are invited to watch the games.
Oct. 11 The SE health and physical education department will hold an informational meeting for the All-TCC Athletics Competition at 1 p.m. Competitions are 1-3 p.m. Oct. 18 and Oct. 25. For more details, call health and physical education instructor Shahzad Nazir at 817-515-3170.
Oct. 17, 18 Volleyball enthusiasts can sign up for a NE indoor tournament on the 16th and/or 17th in the NHPE gym on NE Campus. Games are 2-6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and registration can be done the day before. Students can sign up as teams or as free agents who will be assigned to teams.
Oct. 25 For the less athletic athlete, NE Campus offers the Madden Tournament. Players can just show up in the NHPE gym for tournament play, which runs 1-5 p.m. on both PS3 and XBOX 360. The winner takes home his/her choice of a Madden 25 game for PS3 or XBOX 360. No prior registration is required.
