Classical music will fill the air in College Hall Oct. 29 on NE Campus.

Students from the String Ensemble class will perform a Student Chamber Music Concert.

“There will be three music compositions performed by three groups,” said music associate professor Hsinyi Wang.

Students Edens Kebreau on viola and Jair Soto on guitar will perform Johann Friedrich Franz Burgmuller’s, Three Nocturnes for Cello and Guitar.

This piece is from the Romantic era of 1815-1910.

With students Alex Gillen on guitar and Hannah Fieseler on piano, Sorin Guttman, Fort Worth Symphony violinist, will perform Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s 12 Variations on La bergere Celimene, K. 359/374a from 1781.

Students Zuriel Bertch on violin, Adam Pratt on cello and Patricia Chi Tsai on piano will perform Ludwig Von Beethoven’s Piano Trio Op. 70 No. 1 Ghost from the classical period.

“This is not a competition,” Wang said. “I hope they do well.”

The event is free, open to the public and held in College Hall (NCAB 1111) at 7:30 p.m.
