Students have a chance to plant part of Fort Worth yellow with TR Campus’ Project Daffodil Nov. 1-2.

Student development associate Elena Walker said Project Daffodil would provide a “lifelong legacy” along the river as the bulbs will multiply each year and bloom each spring.

“Project Daffodil began in 2008,” Walker said. “It’s a two-day process and will be broken up by two hours a day, and with that, we try to get what we can get done.”

Volunteers will work with Streams and Valleys Inc. along the Forest Park Boulevard Trail by the 7th Street Bridge near downtown Fort Worth.

Students who want to volunteer can sign up for Project Daffodil through the TCC hub website or by contacting Elena Walker at 817-515-1194.
