A combination of music and art honoring black women will be presented on NW Campus next week.
Ronda Haugabook, artist and singer, will perform Tuesday, Feb. 28, 11 a.m.-noon in WSTU 1303-1305.
Haugabook will display her latest collection of works, Journey through Life in Symbolic Colors.
Haugabook believes this anthology captures the essence of African American Women in today’s world. Haugabook hopes to celebrate and remember the strong women of the past who helped shape America.
This free Black History Month presentation pays tribute to all people who lived their lives to inspire others, Haugabook said.
The artist uses symbolic colors to illustrate her journey through life and to express her essence as an African American woman.
