South plans to show Inconvenient Truth

Interested students will have a chance to view the Oscar-winning documentary An Inconvenient Truth.

South Campus will have a viewing Wednesday, March 21, at 2 p.m., in the Student Center Forum Room.

Sponsored by the South Campus social sciences department, the documentary explores the truths and myths surrounding global warming. With former Vice President Al Gore serving as its narrator, the film presents future predictions interspersed with facts.

Free of political bias, the film is the personal story of Gore, from a college student to a U.S. senator and his environmental awakening, according to climatecrisis.net, the film’s Web site.

In the film, Gore lays out facts and information so viewers can draw their own conclusion.
