April 10-12 The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) opens at 7:30 p.m. in the Joe B. Rushing Center for the Performing Arts on South Campus. The cast of three actors will play the roles of many different characters while acting out Shakespeare’s 37 plays in a comical and lighthearted way. Tickets are free for TCC students, faculty and staff, $3 for non-TCC students and senior citizens and $6 for the general public. A poor floral assistant becomes an overnight success when he discovers an exotic plant that grows into an ill-tempered, foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore that offers him fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite. “Audrey II” reveals itself to be an alien creature ready for global domination.
