The franchise, born in Connecticut, was launched in 1999. Now there are 703 stores open or coming soon. The baskets are made to order and are perfect for any occasion. All ingredients are natural, and no preservatives or sweeteners are used.
“ Delicious Celebration™ is a good gift idea for students,” Teresa Lister, owner of the central Fort Worth location, said. The design (starting at $45) is filled with pineapple stars and daisies, strawberries, grapes, cantaloupe and honeydew.
Lister had not heard of Edible® Arrangements until her daughter began raving about the baskets after enjoying them at work.
“ I opened the franchise in January,” Lister said. “My daughter talked me into this.”
Business is booming so orders need to be called in at least one week ahead of time for Mother’s Day,
Lister said. Orders can be either picked up or delivered.
Melissa Gardner is a frequent visitor to Lister’s store.
